Description

The Moroccan ma’gouna teapot, also called berrad in Moroccan Darija, is an essential element of the traditional Moroccan tea ceremony. It is usually made of brass, copper or silver and is often decorated with intricate motifs.

The teapot is used to brew and serve traditional Moroccan mint tea, which is a mixture of green tea, fresh mint leaves and sugar. The tea is brewed in the teapot on a charcoal fire, which gives it a smoky flavor and aroma.
Once the tea is brewed, it is poured into small glasses from a height, which is supposed to improve the taste and create a frothy layer on top. Tea is often served with small Moroccan pastries or nuts and is a symbol of hospitality in Moroccan culture.
Moroccan teapots are widely available in markets and shops throughout Morocco and are often sold as souvenirs for tourists. They are also used in Moroccan households for the daily manufacture of tea and are considered an important part of Moroccan culture and tradition

M’gouna is a small town located in the Dadès valley in Morocco, famous for its rose plantations and the production of rose water and rose oil. The city attracts many tourists who come to attend the annual rose festival, which is held in May, which celebrates the flowering of roses.
In addition to the festival, M’gouna offers visitors the opportunity to explore the surrounding countryside, which is home to many traditional Berber villages and beautiful natural landscapes, including the Dades Gorge and the High Atlas Mountains.
Tourists can also take part in activities such as hiking, camel riding and visiting local markets and traditional Moroccan hammams. Accommodation options in M’gouna range from traditional guest houses to luxury resorts.
Overall, M’gouna is a popular destination for those looking to discover the beauty and culture of rural Morocco
